What Is It?

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a by-product of important cells and proteins that help promote healing in the body. PRF is created by collecting a small sample of the patient’s blood into certified sterile single patient use test tubes (BCTSP) and then spinning them down with a centrifuge.

The end result is what we call a “fibrin matrix”, you can think of it as a band-aid with medicine. The fibrin matrix is then placed over the surgery sites to accelerate the body’s own healing process.
